The Swim and Racquet Club is a private club with facilities for swimming, tennis, and social events for members. Rogers Krajnak was commissioned to design a proshop addition that serves as a multi-function space. The addition will contain a retail shop for selling tennis equipment and clothing, an office for the club pro, and serves as a true ‘hub’ for all tennis related activity. The proshop space will also serve as an expansion to the existing banquet space by simply removing the retail items. Architecturally, the proshop addition is highlighted by an exposed, timber roof structure, and a large bow-shaped window which offers panoramic views out to the tennis and swimming areas.
