This project was considered by our clients as a "home facelift". Both the interior and exterior of this 1930's home was carefully considered in order to update its appearance but at the same time keeping a traditional character. The exterior project consists of cleaning the existing slate roof, painting the existing brick, painting and repairing the existing shutters, adding a front porch, and adding a custom front door. The new wood construction porch has a slate tile roof, to match the existing roof, and has clean, simple details that relate to the house.
The interior project consists of renovating the existing Kitchen/ Breakfast Room and Mud Room. The Kitchen/ Breakfast Room included new cabinets, appliances, plumbing fixtures, granite counters, crown molding, a custom designed tile backsplash, and new/ existing reconfigured lighting. |
