A new front porch replaces an existing under scaled porch. The new porch is designed to coordinate with a new paver and stone entry drive that brings visitor's vehicles to the front entry. With it's appropriate massing and proportions the new porch appears to have always graced the front of this colonial revival residence.

A major remodeling project converts the existing under utilized attic space into a state of the art family recreation and entertainment space. The project includes a new kitchen, built-in entertainment center, and a new open stair with views down to the second floor. Careful attention was given to the design and detailing of the new wood ceiling and trim which creates the appearance of a heavy timber roof structure. A concealed cove light in the collar ties provides dramatic accent lighting to the sloped bead board ceiling.
