The 5,100 square foot facility for worship, fellowship, education and administration is the first phase of construction for a congregation that is relocating to an undeveloped twenty-acre site. The initial structure is placed on the site to allow for the expansion of the facility, parking areas, lawns and gardens as the congregation continues to grow. The building is designed with simple materials of painted lap siding and stone. The design includes a rhythmic composition of gabled roof forms that vary in pitch. As the master plan is ultimately implemented, the steepest roof pitch is designed for the large sanctuary that will be constructed adjacent to the initial building in the future. |
