Located on the campus of the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, the Retreat and Learning Center will be created in a garden setting beside a small lake. The facility is comprised of seven buildings that are integrated into the slope of the hill and tucked into the trees at the edge of the wooded ravine. The main building will provide a warm inviting environment that gathers people together to share in the fellowship of Christian education and leadership. The warmth of a grand fireplace will radiate from the hearth at the west end of a light filled Great Room. The east end of the Great Room offers views across a fountain through the glass gabled to the adjacent chapel in the forest. Dining, meeting rooms, guest rooms and administration areas comprise the balance of the 57,600 square foot main building. Overnight accommodations will be provided in fifty-six guest rooms that are clustered around the hilltop garden.
